I'm a frontend developer and UX/UI designer based in Edmonton, Alberta. I design and engineer web experiences that help organizations tell their stories and market themselves.
I currently work as a Junior Web Developer at Digital + Creative, the University of Alberta's in-house design agency, where the role blends content, design, and development work.
My recent work includes building a component to display college affiliations on the university’s site footers, designing the landing page for the new MEng advertising campaign, and conducting the UX analysis + redesign for Campus + Community Recreation's web services.
Lately I've been leaning into design engineering: learning by doing and by watching people who are further along than me. I rebuilt a World Cup bracket challenge from scratch using Warp, Cursor, and Vercel, and turned it into a real bracket pool a group of coworkers actually used, with magic-link sign-in and a database that keeps everyone's picks to themselves.
A few other quick prototypes: we-cooked, a weekly cooking challenge app I built on a rainy afternoon with a loved one (think "BeReal meets Wordle, but dinner"), and Gemini Converter, a small tool that turns messy AI chat exports into clean, readable markdown (code). Neither is polished, but for a first pass - it's cool. I built them for me and my loved ones; both went from idea to something real and working in a single sitting.
